Costa Mesa Green Task Force Presents A Speaker & Training Series


The Costa Mesa Green Task Force is on a mission to share information about making Costa Mesa a greener, more healthy city. To kick things off they are offering a six-part speaker & training series that is family-friendly. It's really a fantastic way for the entire community to gain awareness about "going green."

The Schedule for March 2011:

Wednesday, March 2, 2011: Home Skills for the Green Citizen - Keeping Your Home in the "Green" ZoneDelilah Snell, a Master Preserver, will educate the public about composting and preserving food. (Note: The Costa Mesa Sanitary Department offers composting bins for just $20!)Wednesday, March 9, 2011: Keeping it Green at School - Help Promote Healthy Living at our SchoolsWe applaud this one because we have enjoyed seeing how schools like Adams Elementary School and Sonora Elementary School have really embraced recycling programs.
