The Mesa North area of Costa Mesa is situated between Fairview Rd., Baker St., the 73 Freeway and the 405 Freeway. The area consists of approximately 800 single-family homes plus apartments, condos, and town-homes. Many of the homes in Mesa North were built in the early 1960s and tend to be one-story California ranches and some two-story homes. Mesa North is located within 1 mile of South Coast Plaza for upscale shopping and the Anti-Mall for a more laid back shopping experience with a unique flair.

Students attend schools that are part of the Newport Mesa Unified School District. The area high school is Costa Mesa High School, which offers great educational and recreational opportunities for students… Go Mustangs!

Carribee: These homes are located in the vicinity of Concord & Pierce and generally offer 3-4 bedrooms, 2-3 baths, and 1300-1800 sq. ft.


Mesa North (President): These homes make up a good portion of Mesa North. They typically have 3-4 bedrooms and range from about 1200-2000 sq. ft.

Northgate: These homes generally offer 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1200-2000 sq. ft.

Sommerset Citihomes:  These Mesa North townhomes are very similar to single-family homes and offer a beautiful setting that is well-maintained by the homeowners association. The complex has 2 pools, lush greenbelts, and a quaint yet contemporary architecture that boasts vaulted ceilings and lots of light. There are 2, 3 and even 4 bedroom options ranging from 1284-1740 sq. ft. Sommerset Citihomes has 111 units in total and the association dues are currently about $360/month.
