Moon Park is a quiet suburban park located in the Mesa Verde State Streets. There is a playground area, picnic table, and drinking fountain. The highlight of the park is a 30-foot cratered gray concrete dome, which is meant to commemorate the July 20, 1969 space landing. The 1.7-acre park also leads to the Santa Ana River Trail, which provides a traffic-free route to the beach for bicycles, rollerblades, walkers, runners, etc.
