South Coast Metro is the northernmost portion of Costa Mesa and is situated just north of the 405 Freeway. The community is a bit newer with most of the homes being built in the 1970s. Many of the homes have more contemporary architecture with vaulted ceilings and more open floor plans. They typically have cute yards that allow for the outdoor lifestyle. Some of the homes in this neighborhood are part of communities that have private homeowner associations. These homes have association pools and spas that members of the community can enjoy.
There are a few distinct sections in South Coast Metro. One section is called the “Flower Streets” because the streets are all named after flowers.
