The Mesa del Mar neighborhood was established between 1961 and 1964 is made up of approximately 850 homes. The boundaries of this quiet neighborhood are south of Baker/north of Tewinkle Park, between Fairview and west of the 55 freeway.
Many of these homes are great for “starter” homes, first-time buyers, families, and people looking for one-story homes with very open floor plans. The smaller one-stories range from 1300 sq ft to 1800 sq ft and are made up of 3 to 4 bedrooms, with kitchen and family room areas. The houses were built with fireplaces in the living areas on slab construction.
In the past 15 years Mesa del Mar has enjoyed a surge in new construction, extensive remodels and neighborhood beautification. Square footage in some homes can exceed 3,000 sq ft. The theme of Mesa Del Mar is “Most Valued Home Location.”
Starbucks, French´s Bakery, Baker Equipment Rentals, Stator Bros, are just a few of the businesses within walking distance. South Coast Plaza is less than a half mile away!
